Sort of like the plumber that has a house with leaky pipes. Well anyway I finally got around to launching my own B&B’s new web site. It looks very similar to the old one, however like all my clients it uses a WordPress backend with a number of tweaks.

As always I do not sell myself as a graphic designer however with some decent photography and the correct info this site works really well.

Some of the improved features include;

  • Translation in to multiple languages
  • Twitter Integration
  • Blog for Inn’s Journal and Attractions
  • Specials and Packages
  • Google Map Integration

It is doing well with the Search engines, although this is not truly a competitive market for B&Bs. It does hit some nice phrases that I know no one else is targeting. It all makes for guests who are happy to discover us, and may travel a little further to get to us.
